Common questions and tips from our work with Lynchburg customers.
- What does event production actually include?
- Sound for the size of the room or the field, lighting to make the space look like an event instead of a rental hall, microphones for anyone speaking, and the setup and coordination that ties it together. For Lynchburg-area outdoor sites that means speaker placement, cable runs, and a plan for weather worked out before the day.
- How much space and power do you need?
- It depends on the size of the event, so this gets confirmed during planning rather than guessed. What matters most at rural Virginia venues is knowing where working outlets are and how far they sit from where the DJ needs to be. Send photos or arrange a walkthrough and the power and placement questions get answered ahead of time.
- Do you handle load-in and teardown?
- Yes. Gear arrives early enough to be set, tested, and quiet before guests show up, and it comes down after the event without the host having to stay and supervise. Load-in windows get confirmed with the venue in advance, since Lynchburg and Richmond venues often have a tight turnaround between bookings.
Tip
Walk the venue before the event date
Most production problems are location problems: an outlet on the wrong wall, a stage that faces into a hard surface, a tent with no lighting rigging point. A short walkthrough ahead of time turns those into solved details instead of day-of improvisation. For venues within an hour of Lynchburg, that visit is usually easy to arrange.
